XiamenAir (Chinese Sha Men Hang Kong ), a Chinese airline, was once known as Xiamen Airlines. It is the first privately owned Chinese airline. It has three hubs in Xiamen, Fuzhou, and Hangzhou. It flies to major cities throughout China, and also flies to Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Its flights most often originate from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport. However, some of them also fly to Fuzhou Changle International Airport or Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport.
Operation began in 1984 with a domestic airline that connected Fujian to the rest China. China Southern Airlines, Xiamen Construction and Development Group and Fujian Investment & Development Group are some of the shareholders. Two subsidiaries are also owned by the airline: Hebei Airlines, and Jiangxi Airlines.
The airline has over 160 aircraft and flies to more than 70 destinations. The Airline Service Survey awarded the airline the 'Best Airline in Mainland China 19 times consecutively.

Economy Class
Economy class has a 3-3-2-3 layout. It includes individual screens for entertainment, USB ports on the seats and universal power outlets. Passengers will also receive a pair of flight socks and blankets, a pillow, and a water bottle. Economy seats are comfortable and have enough legroom.
For longer flights, passengers have the option to choose from a variety of delicious and universal main dishes.
Premium Economy
There is no premium economy service available onboard Xiamen Airlines aircrafts at the moment.
Business Class
Only select planes within the XiamenAir fleet offer business class. Business class seats are similar to first-class, offering large, comfortable seats, ample legroom and large, softly reclining airline seats. Premium meals and drinks, including alcoholic options, can be enjoyed by passengers on board. All are served in china or glassware.
Business class passengers are provided with an amenity kit, pyjamas and thick blankets, as well as two pillows.
First-Class
First class is only available on select aircraft. First-class seats can be arranged in a 2-2 arrangement, which gives each passenger ample personal space and wide, comfortable chairs with cushions.
Xiamen Airlines offers 11 movies and 8 shorts each month about travel, food delicacies and culture on its overhead monitor for narrow-body fleet. The aircraft also offers a variety of music and reading materials for passengers.

To complete check-in, passengers must go to the XiamenAir counters. The counters will be open for domestic flights 90 minutes before departure and close 30 minutes prior to departure. International flights will open 60 minutes prior to departure and close at 40 minutes.
All service classes offer a 5kg free baggage allowance. Maximum dimensions for carry-on baggage are 55x40x20cm Two pieces of carry-on baggage are free for First Class passengers. All other service classes passengers are eligible for one piece of carry-on baggage.
Domestic flights allow 40kg of checked baggage for First Class, 30kg Business Class, and 20kg Economy Class.

2x32kg are allowed for first and business class passengers.
Economy class passengers can carry 1 x 23kg.
All checked baggage, regardless of class, must meet the combined linear dimensions (Length + Width + Height) of 158cm.
For international flights between China and Australia/Canada/USA/Japan:
First-class passengers can carry 3x32kg
Business class passengers can carry 2x 32kg.
2x23kg are allowed for Economy Class passengers.

Xiamen Airlines will accept guide dogs, rescue dogs and hearing aid dogs. They must be kept on a leash at all times.
Xiamen Airline allows passengers to cancel their flight online with no hassles.
