About Vistara Airlines
Vistara is a Sanskrit term that stands for "limitless expanse", which was publicly announced on 11 August 2014. It began operations on 9 January 2015. Vistara was the first domestic airline to start operating out of the new terminal at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai. Vistara has carried more than half a million passengers in its seven-month existence. It was officially declared on August 20, 2015. The airline also had on-time records since the very beginning. Vistara held about 2% market share in February 2016. Vistara's first International destination is Singapore which was announced on 11th July 2019 and the first sector covered was Delhi-Singapore-Delhi on 6th August 2019 and the second was Mumbai-Singapore-Mumbai which took place on 7th August 2019.

Baggage policy and Fees
Vistara has changed the baggage allowance for all fare classes. Economy Class Lite allows one piece of luggage, which must not exceed 15 kgs. Premium Economy Lite's one-piece luggage can weigh in at 20 kgs. Business Class can take 30 kgs. Economy has a standard baggage allowance of 15 kg. Premium Economy allows for 25 kg and Business Class allows for 35 kg. The Flexi baggage allowance for Economy Class, Premium Economy Class, and Business Class is 20, 30, and 40 respectively. Vistara will charge extra if the baggage allowance exceeds the maximum.
Pet policy
AirAsia, Vistara, and IndiGo do not permit live animals to be transported on their flights. IndiGo and Vistara only allow guide dogs. AirAsia India, however, allows other service animals to be transported on its i5 flights.
