Venture Travel, LLC operates under the name Taquan Air. The airline offers both scheduled passenger and charter service. The base of the airline is located at Ketchikan Harbor, which shares the same harbor with Ketchikan International Airport.

Taquan Air is recognized as one the most successful floating plane operators in Alaska. Taquan Air was the largest floatplane operator in the world and offered the second-largest air commuter service in Alaska in 1997.

Only one cabin class is offered by the airline, and it only has standard seating. All its aircraft have been completely refurbished to meet the same high standards.

Taquan has completely remodeled its fleet, which included extending the cabin and adding a window seat. Four additional windows were added, as well as putting in new interiors. The airline works hard to make sure it has the best fleet of Otters and Beavers in the world.
