About Spring Airlines
Spring Airlines is China’s first domestic low-cost airline. The airline's headquarters is in Shanghai. It currently flies to five domestic bases: Shanghai Hongqiao (Pudong), Pudong Shijizhuang Shijizhuang and Shenzhen. The airline also offers flights to Japan Osaka and Thailand Bangkok, Nagoya and South Korea Jeju.
The airline opened Shanghai Pudong - Ibraki in 2010 as a gateway to passengers who wanted to fly charter flights into the city. China's first private airlines flew out of China as a result. Spring Airlines later opened the Shanghai-Hong Kong route in 2010. By 2012, it had opened over 75 routes on both international and regional levels.
The airline was awarded the Safety Advanced Unit recognition award. Spring Airlines encourages comfortable, affordable travel.

You will feel comfortable sitting with padded headrests. Short flights have no recline, but there is plenty of legroom.

Online Check-In
You can still check in online if you have a booking with Alternative Airlines for this airline. Just enter your flight details, and you can check in! Online check-in is only available for domestic flights. You must check in at least 24 hours prior to departure. Online check-in allows passengers to bypass security checks at the airport.
Check-In
You can check in at the airport check-in desk to complete your airport check-in. Check-in passengers should arrive at check-in before the flight departs.

Baggage Policy And Fees
Carry-on Baggage
Domestic flights allow one bag, maximum weight 7 kg. International flights require that carry-on luggage not exceed 5kg.
Checked Baggage
The allowance for checked baggage varies depending on the ticket class. Non-SpringPlus customers can bring on and check luggage for international flights with a combined weight not exceeding 15kg. SpringPlus customers can bring on baggage and check baggage up to 25kg. Domestic flights do not have a check baggage allowance. Customers in Y class are allowed to bring their own baggage as well as checked baggage up to 15kg. SpringPlus customers can bring on baggage and check baggage up to 25kg.
Pet Policy
Spring Airlines prohibits any live animal from flying in its aircraft cabin unless it is a medically licensed service dog.
The cabin will accept service dogs, including guide, assistance and hearing dogs, to accompany disabled passengers. A disabled passenger can travel with one service dog. Each flight can only accommodate four service dogs.
An application must be submitted 48 hours before departure for passengers travelling with a service animal. The application must include a copy of the current health certificate and training certification documentation.
Refund And Cancellation Policy
Spring Airlines' 24-hour cancellation policy allows passengers to cancel any flight they have booked within 24 hours. Spring Airlines will give a full refund for tickets purchased more than a week before departure of your Spring Airlines flight.
