About Sky Express

Sky Express, officially Cretan Aeronautical Opera (Greek : Kretikes Aeroporikes Ekmetalleuseis Kritikes Aeroporikes Ekmetallefsis) is a Greek airline with its headquarters in Athens International Airport. It was founded in 2005. They operate a variety of flights to 35 destinations domestically and eight internationally.

Cpt. Cpt. Operation began in July 2005. It included scheduled, charter, cargo and air taxi flights, as well as emergency medical services, sightseeing and excursion flights. Sky Express Aircargo, a joint venture established with Finaval Group, was later dedicated to cargo transport between Europe & the Far East. In October 2020, the airline placed an order for four Airbus A320neo planes (the fleet now has six). The company also introduced a new design to their new Airbus aircraft.

Sky Express Check-In And Boarding Pass

How can I check in online?

1. Enter skyexpress.gr 48 hours before your due departure time. You can check in online up to three hours before your departure.
2. Click on 'Check in'
3. Enter your booking code, followed by your surname.
4. Print your boarding card or download it to your smartphone.
5. Drop off your luggage at the SKY Express check-in counters once you arrive at the airport. Then, head to your gate 20 minutes before your departure time.
6. You can drop off your baggage if you don't have any.
7. To avoid additional charges, ensure you have all the required travel documents. Also, make sure your hand luggage doesn't exceed the baggage allowance for your flight.

Check in at the airport

You must arrive at the airport at least two hours prior to your departure time in order to check-in at our counters.

Check-in closes 30 minutes before takeoff for domestic flights, and 45 minutes before for international flights.

This is a must:

1. All the necessary travel documents are available to you.
2. Your baggage allowance must be in compliance with your fare conditions.

Baggage Policy And Fees

The Sky Express baggage allowance depends on the airline fare chosen by the passenger. One piece of checked baggage and one piece hand luggage are included in the fare.

Carry-on Baggage

All fares include one piece hand luggage up to 6kg in weight and dimensions no greater than 45cm by 35cm by 20cm.

Checked Baggage

All In fares include one bag checked in up to a maximum of 25kg

Plus, you get one checked bag for a maximum of 15kg

One checked bag is included in the Just Fly fare, up to a maximum of 13kg

Children are entitled to the same baggage allowance as adults except that of infants. However, they can be allowed a special seat carriage which is often charged by the airline.

Pet Policy

If the applicable law does not restrict this transport and it does not compromise flight safety, SKY express allows small pets to travel on all routes. Your pet's ability to travel in the luggage compartment or cabin depends on its weight and the size of the transport cage. Your pet will still be able to travel comfortably and safely in the cabin or hold of an aircraft.

You can make a reservation for your pet's transport online 24 hours prior to departure. For inspection, the pet/animal's medical record must be submitted. The ID microchip must also have been installed.

You must be fully vaccinated at least 21 days prior to your flight. It must also be valid on the day you travel.

If you're travelling with an infant, it is not permitted to bring a pet into the cabin.

If you're bringing a pet with you, it is important to arrive at the check-in station at least an hour before your departure time.

You must give a written transfer certificate from the owner if your pet is not with you.

Refund And Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or changes to flights are permitted up to six hours prior to departure . Cancellations made after this time are considered no-shows. Only the SKY Enjoy fare allows you to use same-day travel for the same destination until 45 minutes before departure.
