About Sky Cana
Sky Cana, a charter and passenger airline from Dominica, was founded in 2012. In 2012, the airline began to operate cargo flights and has been offering passenger services since 2021. It also partners with Sky High, Air Century and Vaca.do in order to sell tickets and provide services for chartered flights. Sky Cana offers services to many destinations in the Caribbean, Central America, and the USA. The airline has a fleet that includes Embraer E145 and Bombardier CRJ200, Airbus A321, Bombardier CRJ200, Saab 340, Saab 340, Saab 340, and Bombardier CRJ200 for passenger services. It also uses ATR 72 F aircraft and Boeing 737-300F aircraft for cargo-only flights. In the future, the airline plans to add the Airbus A330 to their fleet. Sky Cana will promote Dominican hospitality and will not compete with low-cost carriers for services to the Dominican Republic. However, it will offer economy and Business class as well as complimentary luggage and drinks.

Sky Cana Classes
Economy Class
The airline currently offers only an economy product onboard. All passengers receive a complimentary meal, including drinks, and a 23kg luggage. The airline can transport 220 economy passengers aboard its A321, 50 on the E145, and 30 on the Saab 340.
Business Class
Although the airline does not currently offer business class products, it hopes to add an Airbus A330 to their fleet. Sky Cana will install a business class product on this aircraft. Once the aircraft is delivered, more information will be available.

Inflight Entertainment & Wifi
Sky Cana does not offer Wifi or inflight entertainment. They do offer an inflight magazine that you can read. You are encouraged to bring your own entertainment for the duration of your flight. You can purchase a variety of products from the airline's inflight store. Please refer to the inflight magazine.
Food & Drink
Sky Cana stated that they will provide complimentary Creole food onboard all of their flights. Creole is a type of cuisine that's native to the Dominican Republic, and its surrounding regions.

Sky Cana has begun offering services to destinations in Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic as of January 2022.

Online Check In
Online check-in is not possible. You will need to check in at the airport. If your airline offers charter flights, it is possible that they allow online check-in. Please check with them to confirm.
Airport Check In
Check-in at airports is possible. Please visit the Sky Cana desks upon your arrival at the airline. If you are operating a service for a tour operator, you might be required to visit their check in facilities. Details will be provided with your tickets. We recommend that you arrive at the airport no more than 90 minutes prior to your scheduled departure.

Baggage Policy And Fees
Passengers can bring one piece of cabin baggage with them onboard the airline. This must not exceed 8 kg in weight.
Sky Cana allows you to bring 1 checked bag with you when booking with them. Your ticket allows you to carry a bag up to 23kg. The airline is a charter airline that operates on behalf of tour operators. Therefore, baggage policies can differ. Please consult your tour operator for information about their baggage allowances.
This baggage policy applies only to flights between New York JFK, Santiago and Santo Domingo. There may be some differences between services with Sky High or Air Century. For more information, please visit their websites.
Pet Policy
The airline allows small cats and dogs to travel in the cabin provided that the pet's combined weight does not exceed 13 lbs (6 kilograms). To travel in the cabin, pets must be 8 weeks old. The fee for a pet is $76, if booked when you reserve your first ticket. If you wait to check in or add your pet later, the fee will be $90.
