About Sita Air
Sita Air, a commuter airline, operates scheduled flights within Nepal. The airline's main base is at Tribhuvan International Airport, (TIA), Kathmandu, Nepal. In 2000, the airline was granted its certificate as an air operator. It was founded in October 2000. However, it was not able to operate until February 2003 due to political unrest in Nepal. From 2014 to 2016, the airline was restricted to cargo flights. From 2014 to 2016, the airline was limited to cargo flights.

Baggage Policy
Sita Air passengers can take 18kg per person, and no more than 127 linear cm (length + width + length). Additional baggage will be subject to the current excess baggage fee. It is not allowed to carry hazardous materials like flammables or compressed gases, batteries, or toxic substances. You may be denied loading if you aren't sure if you will be carrying the goods.
All bags, carry-ons, laptop bags and purses are included in the airline's baggage allowance. All baggage must be weighed.
