Airport
For this airline, passengers must check in at the airport. You can do this by showing the appropriate travel documents (eticket, ID/passport) at the check-in desk at departure airport. SANSA does not have any specific check-in deadlines. For domestic flights, however, we recommend that you arrive at least 90 minutes prior to flight departure. International flights, on the other hand, should be arrived at least 120 minutes prior to flight departure.

Baggage Policy And Fees
One piece of baggage may be carried on free of charge by passengers. It must not exceed 4.5kg in weight. The baggage cannot exceed 20 inches (50 cm) in length (l +, h +, w).
Passengers may also bring their personal items onboard, but they must not exceed the weight of their carry-on baggage. You can bring a handbag, purse, book, blanket, camera binoculars, laptop, or other similar items.
One item of checked baggage may be brought free by passengers with a maximum weight limit of 14 kg. The baggage cannot exceed 45 inches (114 cm) in length (l +, h +, w).
It is important to remember:
- Passengers may be asked to place their carry-on luggage in the hold if there is not enough space in the cabin.
- Extra baggage fees will be assessed per kilogram if any luggage weighs more than the allowances.
Pet Policy
Pets can travel in the cabin with Aviancaif they don't exceed 18 lbs (8 kg), not including their carrier. The maximum height of animals must be under 8" H (20 cm). Each passenger may only travel with 1 carrier in addition to their regular carry-on luggage.
