SalamAir, a low cost airline is based in Oman. Its headquarters are at Muscat International Airport. The airline has over 30 destinations in the Middle East, Central Asia, and parts of Southeast Asia. SalamAir, a low-cost airline, gives passengers the freedom to choose and adjust their experience without compromising on quality.

SalamAir began offering flights at the beginning 2017 with a service between Muscat, Salalah. One month later, it flew its first international flight with service between Muscat (Salalah) and Dubai (one of the most sought-after routes).

Economy Class

SalamAir's Economy Class cabin is its only class fare. Economy Class is a professional service with a modern cabin on A320neo.

The seats are laid out in a 3-by-3 configuration. Standard legroom and comfort are provided by the seats for Economy Class A320s. Salamair allows you to choose your seat prior to departure, regardless of where you're flying from or to.

Three fares are available for Economy Class passengers:

Carry-on baggage is allowed to weigh 7 kg/15 lb.

Allowances for carry-on luggage and checked baggage are 7 kg/15 lbs each

A 7kg / 15 lbs allowance is given for carry-on baggage. 20 kg/ 44 lbs are allowed for checked baggage. There is also a free meal and a choice of seats.

Only passengers who fly in the Benefit class fare have the right to a complimentary meal. Passengers flying in Light and Friendly must purchase their meal onboard.

Select SalamAir flights can be checked in online. To check in, passengers must click on the check-in tab. Check-in online is possible up to 24 hours before departure. Check-in online is a fast and simple way to get to the airport. 

Airport Check In

Passengers who are unable to or unwilling to check in online must check-in at their airport. You can do this by visiting the airport's check-in counter. You should clearly mark the designated check-in area with your airline name and logo. Please refer to the departure information board for the exact location or ask the staff at the airport. SalamAir recommends that you arrive at airport two hours prior to departure for domestic flights, and three hours prior for international flights. Failure to meet the airline's check in deadline could result in the cancellation of your fare.

One item of unchecked baggage may be carried by passengers. It must be smaller than 56x45x25cm (22x18x10in) and not exceed 7kg/15lbs. A small handbag or laptop bag is allowed for passengers, but it must not exceed 25x33x20cm (10x13x8in). Any prohibited items must be avoided as they will be confiscated and thrown out at the airport. The following items are prohibited: illgal substances, liquids exceeding 100ml, and sharp objects.

SalamAir flights don't include baggage in the basic fare price. You can however book baggage for your flight either after or during the booking process. Passengers who choose the Friendly or Benefit fare will receive 20 kg/44 lbs of checked baggage. When combining the length + width + depth, no baggage item can exceed 160cm/63in. Each item must weigh 32kg/71lbs.
