Baggage policy and Fees

Carry-On Baggage

All passengers are entitled to a 14-kg (30 lb) carry-on allowance. One piece of baggage cannot weigh more than 10kg. Maximum two bags per passenger are allowed to be carried on.

Select flights may have a maximum baggage weight of 7kg (7 lbs). The baggage allowance will appear on your eticket and at the time you book.

Airport security inspections are required for all items brought onboard, including liquids exceeding 100ml and sharp objects. For airport security checks, liquid containers must be stored in a plastic bag. You must ensure that your carry-on items fit under the seat and within the overhead lockers.

Checked Baggage

Economy Class passengers receive a total baggage allowance of 23kg (50lbs) per person, with a maximum weight of 1 piece per passenger.

Business Class passengers receive a 32kg (70lbs) total baggage allowance per passenger. A maximum of two pieces are allowed per passenger.

The airline will refuse to accept any baggage that is more than 32kg (70lbs) as it violates safety and health regulations.

You can add extra baggage to your booking when you book with Alternative Airlines. Excess baggage can be purchased online for a lower price than buying it at the airport.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

There are some things you should consider before cancelling your flight.

  • All passengers in your booking can be cancelled. You must seperate individual passengers from your booking in order to cancel their flights. You can then make any changes that you require by placing these passengers in a new booking using a different booking reference.
