The COVID-19 virus pandemic has negatively impacted the business of Philippines Air Asia. In March 2020, Philippine AirAsia's plans to appear in the Philippine Stock Exchange in 2020 were postponed. The airline management decided to concentrate on expanding its domestic operations in response to a ban placed by the government on South Korea and China. This was in response to the worsening economic situation that threatens 30% of the airlines revenue.
