About Olympic Air

Olympic Air, a Greek airline, is a subsidiary to the Greek airline carrier Aegean Airlines. Combining Aegean Airlines with Olympic Air allows you to connect every corner of Greece. You can fly to 111 destinations worldwide and 34 Greek airports. Star Alliance network members have access to all parts of the globe.

After the privatisation and reorganization of Olympic Airlines, the airline was established. The new airline began operations in September 2009. Aegean Airlines announced in October 2012 that it would acquire Olympic Air for EUR75million. The latter is now a service provider to parent company Aegean Airlines. The former CEO of Olympic Aviation founded Astra Airlines which is based in Thessaloniki International Airport.

The airline operates approximately 164 daily flights from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos to 34 Greek destinations using its fleet of DASH8 100 and DASH8 400.

Olympic Air Classes

Economy Class

The airline offers economy class as a standard. There are two fare options available: GoLight or Flex. The Flex ticket is a cheaper option that allows passengers to modify their tickets without paying a fee. The crew provides impeccable service and ensures passengers a pleasant flight.

Business Class

Business class passengers can book a ticket for a better service and comfort. Business class passengers get a larger baggage allowance, dedicated check in counters, priority baggage claim, and access to the airport's Business Lounges.

Athens International Airport

Athens International Airport, which is located in Athens, is the principal international airport in Greece. The airport serves as the hub of Olympic Air. It has been one its three main hubs ever since it was launched. The other two are Thessaloniki International Airport (Rhodes International Airport) and Thessaloniki International Airport. Athens International has two terminals as well as two runways. Olympic Air mostly flies out of the Main Terminal. It handles more than 25 million passengers annually.

Olympic Air offers flights to Preveza and Ikaria, Sitia (Mykonos), Sitia (Sitia), Mykonos, Kefalonia via its domestic network. Olympic Air offers all Aegean Airlines flights for booking through its website. This network allows you to reach international cities such as Abu Dhabi, Barcelona, Barcelona, and Beirut.

Olympic Air Check-In And Boarding Pass

Online check-in is possible from up to 48 hours before departure. Please be aware that you must be at the boarding gate no less than 20 minutes prior to your flight's departure time. Your seat will be available to you once the departure time has passed.
You can check-in to all your connecting flights if you are flying with Olympic Air, as long as the first leg of your flight is operated by Olympic Air.

Economy Class - 1 bag of luggage up to 23kgs

Gold Members: - 2 x baggage pieces up to 23kgs with total dimensions of 158cm

Business Class Passenger: 2x bags up to 32kg each

Carry-on Baggage

Two carry-on bags up to 8kg each, and fivekg respectively; 2 bags up to 32kg each; unlimited ticket modifications without rebooking fees for flex or business; ticket is and refundable; special check in counters; access to business class lounges; priority baggage pick up.

Pet Policy

Only cats and dogs (guide dogs are also allowed, see "Service animals" below), can travel with you in an aircraft cabin.
One (1) pet (cat/dog) per passenger is allowed to travel in a cabin, provided it is kept within a container/box. A pet's combined weight with its container should not exceed eight (8) kilograms.

Reservations for pets/animals on flights are subject to priority because of the small number of animals/pets that can be accepted.

You must plan to bring more pets if you travel. They must be the same species, familiar with one another, and stored in the same container/box. You should not exceed eight (8) kilograms (includes container).

Refund And Cancellation Policy

These terms apply to each route.

Changes in flight, date or route may result in additional charges.
Name changes may be allowed in certain cases for a fee.
Both ticket change and ticket reissue must occur simultaneously.
Refunds are not allowed on tickets that allow for money to be refunded.
A charge may be assessed for non-shows at airports and for certain fare categories. Changes in date, flight, and route may also be possible.
