Niceair is an Icelandic airline due to begin operations in spring 2022. Primarily the airline is funded by a consortium of northern Icelandic investors, with no shareholder owning more than 8% of the business. It is initially planned that upon the launch of the airline, the United Kingdom, Denmark and Spain will all receive year-round services from its hub airport of Akureyri Airport in northern Iceland. The airline currently has 1 Airbus A319 in its fleet and aims to further grow this as the airline expands in popularity and route map.
Currently, Niceair has 1 Airbus A319 aircraft in its fleet with a capacity of 150 seats. It is unsure what the cabin configuration of the airline may be, however, if operating at a capacity of 150 passengers then this may suggest an all-economy cabin has been selected. Similar to other airline's configurations the seats onboard Niceair's aircraft maybe 17" in width with around 30" in pitch. The airline may offer a dual-class cabin which may be similar to other European airline business classes which include a standard economy seat with a blocked middle seat and increased level of service onboard. However, more information about the airline travel classes and configuration will be provided nearer the airline's launch.
