About Myanmar National Airlines

Myanmar National Airlines (MNA), the Burmese flag carrier, flies to many Asian destinations, including Hong Kong, Gaya and Bagan, Banmaw and Bangkok.The main hub is at Yangon International Airport, (RGN), with secondary hubs at Mandalay International Airport and Naypyidaw International Airport.

Myanmar National Airlines was established in 1948. It is recognized as Asia's second-oldest airline, after Philippine Airlines.

Myanmar Airways changed its name to Myanmar National Airlines in December 2014. After the arrival of the first Boeing 737-8800, Myanmar Airways announced in June 2015 that it would resume international flights after 22 years. In August 2015, the first international flight to Singapore was resumed. After the arrival of its second Boeing 737-8800, the second international flight to Hong Kong was made in December 2015.

Economy Class

This class is available on all Myanmar National Airlines aircraft. Passengers can also enjoy power outlets and streaming services on the new Boeing 737-880 aircraft. Fly Economy with Saver or Flexible fares to enjoy comfortable seats and complimentary food. Airport Check-In

Domestic flights passengers can check-in between 2 hours and 30 mins before their flight. To avoid lengthy queues, please allow sufficient time to get to the airport.

Check-in is available for flights departing from Yangon International Airport, Singapore Changi Airport and Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Check-in for flights departing Hong Kong International Airport, Chiang Mai International Airport and Phuket International Airport is open 2 hours prior to departure.

Carry-on Baggage

One piece of hand luggage is allowed per passenger. It must be no larger than 22x15x8 inches (55x38x20 cm) and weigh no more than 7kg/15lbs. You must not pack prohibited items in your carry on as they will be disposed of at the airport security. Liquids exceeding 100ml, explosives and other illegal substances are all prohibited.

Business: You can bring 30kg/66lbs of checked baggage on domestic flights.
