Mocambique Expresso is a Mozambique domestic airline.

Maputo International Airport, which is Mozambique’s largest and most important airport, serves as the airline's main hub. Mocambique Expresso provides scheduled passenger domestic and international scheduled flights within the country. Private charters are also available. Popular destinations served by the airline include Lichinga (Nacala), Tete and Pemba.

The airline was started in 1995 by Mozambique Airlines as a subsidiary. LAM owns the regional branch of operations.

Moçambique Expresso Classes

This airline uses aircraft designed for regional and domestic flights. The flights are short-haul and only 50-89 seats are available. The Economy cabin is comfortable and relaxing, with the professional cabin crew providing excellent service.

Economy Class Facilities

Mocambique Expresso operates within LAM Mozambique Airliness route network. The carrier offers scheduled flights to Mozambique's domestic and regional destinations.

Maputo International Airport, also known as Maputo (Mozambique's capital) is an international airport. This airport also serves as the hub airport for MEX, LAM Mozambique Airlines. The airport is also home to Ethiopian Mozambique Airlines. Maputo International is Mozambique's busiest airport and serves as the main gateway for tourists to the country. It is also used to facilitate flights between airlines flying to Africa and parts of Europe and Middle East.

Online Check In

LAM Mozambique offers online check-in for passengers. Online check-in is available up to 48 hours prior to the flight and closes approximately 90 minutes before departure.

Airport Check In

It is a good idea to arrive at least two hours before the flight departs. Domestic flights: Check-in closes at 60 minutes before departure.

Carry-On Allowance

Each passenger is entitled to one carry on bag. Carry-on luggage must be no more than 115cm (45.2") after adding up the three dimensions (length, width, and height). The maximum weight of carry-on bags is 7kg.

Passenger can also bring one personal item. Personal items can include a small bag, laptop, purse or handbag.

Carry-On Allowance

Checked baggage allowance for passengers is free of charge. This information can be confirmed at the time of booking and printed on the ticket. The following guidelines are intended to guide you:

Economy Class passengers get 20kg of checked baggage free.

Business Class passengers get 31kg of checked baggage free.

Pet policy

Mozambique doesn't quarantine dogs and cats that do not meet these requirements. All requirements apply to service and emotional support animals.
