About Kabo Air
Kabo Air was founded by Dr. Alhaji Muhammadu Adamu Dankabo in February 1980. It began operations in April 1981.
Kabo Air was originally a charter company that provided special services to executives and government officials. In 2001, the company ceased operating domestic services and now focuses exclusively on international charters and Hajj flight operations. In 2009, however, the airline was approved to begin international scheduled services. Kabo Air was granted traffic rights to operate scheduled services to Rome Nairobi, and N'Djamena. However, these rights have not been used. For a brief period, the airline operated scheduled flights between Kano and Abuja, Cairo, Dubai, and Jeddah.
Kabo Air fulfilled the requirements of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority for re-capitalization (May 2007).
Kabo Air's offices were sealed by Nigerian Federal Inland Revenue Service on March 3, 2017 due to unpaid taxes. In taxes, US-$460,000
