South American ultra-low-cost carrier JetSmart Airlines, also known as JetSMART, was founded by US investment firm Indigo Partners, which also owns low-cost airlines like US airline Frontier Airlines, Mexican airline, Volaris Airlines, and Hungarian airline Wizz Air.
Indigo Partners is also the co-founder of LBM Fermin Ithuralde. Santiago, Chile's Arturo Merino Bentez International Airport serves as JetSmart's main operational hub. Additionally, it is the owner and manager of JetSmart Argentina, a subsidiary operating out of Buenos Aires and based at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery. Estuardo Ortiz Porras, the company's CEO and founder, made it possible for the airline to launch regular operations on July 25, 2017, with a route from Santiago to Calama.

Now that Peru has access to 22 new routes, it may begin expanding its reach further into South America.

The JetSMART Peru online check-in page allows travellers to do their online check-in for their flight.
JetSMART Peru has not yet issued a comment regarding suggested check-in times for travellers. It is suggested that travellers departing from Peru arrive no later than two hours prior to planned departure so they can finish checking in.

Please be aware that the following luggage information is merely a suggestion, and that specifics will be validated during the booking process:
Passengers are permitted to bring one free piece of carry-on luggage per person when using JetSMART Peru. The maximum weight and size restrictions for this luggage are 10kg and 45x35x25cm, respectively.
There is no free checked luggage allowance offered by JetSMART. But you may buy it on the JetSmart Airlines website. Each piece of luggage is limited to a maximum weight of 23kg and a maximum overall size of 158cm.
