Izhavia, Russia's national airline, was established in 1992. Izhavia provides domestic charter and scheduled passenger services from its hub airport, Izhevsk Airport. The airline currently fly passengers to three destinations on an ongoing basis. It has flown passengers to 16 destinations in total, including Europe and Asia.

Izhavia was established in 1992 under the name "Izhevsk Air Enterprise". It later changed its name from 'Izhevsk Air Enterprise' to Izhavia and it is still in operation today.

Izhavia's fleet consists of more than 15 aircraft. Izhavia's fleet includes a mixture of Soviet Union and Russian aircraft. There are also a few Tupolev, Yakolev, and Antonov jets.

Izhavia Check-In

Online Check In

Check-in can be done online by visiting the Izhavia website, and entering the required flight details. All Izhavia flights have an online check-in that opens 24 hours prior to departure and closes 3 hours before departure.

Airport Check In

A passenger who is unable or unwilling to use the internet to check in can still check-in at the airport. Airport check-in closes at 50 minutes before departure. Passengers must allow enough time for the check-in process, dropping any checked baggage and passing security to board the flight.

Izhavia passengers receive a total baggage allowance of 20kg Economy Class and 30kg Business Class. This includes both carry-on and checked baggage.

Izhavia flight carry-on baggage cannot exceed 5kg. It must be within 45x35x15 cm dimensions. The weight of passengers' checked baggage will affect the limit for carry-on baggage.

Passengers who have less than 15kg or 25kg in Economy Class and Business Class can carry a maximum of 5kg. Passenger's checked baggage that is more than 15kg in Economy Class and less than 25kg in Business Class must weigh no more than 20kg for Economy Class and 30kg for Business Class.

If a passenger travels in Economy Class with 17kg of checked baggage, they are allowed to bring a maximum 3kg of baggage.

Izhavia passengers receive a 20kg allowance in Economy Class, and a 30kg allowance in Business Class (checked or carry-on). The weight of the carry-on baggage will determine how much baggage passengers receive a free checked baggage allowance.

Maximum weight for carry-on baggage is five kilograms. Passengers can bring less. If a passenger travels in Economy Class, and carries 4kg of baggage, they are entitled to 16kg of checked baggage.
