About Green Africa Airways
Green Africa Airways, a Nigerian airline, is based in Lagos Muhammed International Airport. It was launched on August 20, 21. The airline received its air traffic licence from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NICAA) in early 2016, and then received its Air Service License (ALS) in May 2018.
Green Africa Airways placed an order for 100 Boeing 737 MAX-8 aircraft with Boeing in December 2018. Green Africa Airways will offer flights within Nigeria, and later expand to other African countries. Babawande Afolabi is the CEO of Green Africa Airways and he hopes to create a top-class airline that will increase Nigerian passengers' air travel options.
The Nigerian airline has plans to expand its service and offer domestic destinations.

Green Africa Airways Classes
Green Africa Airways fares can be divided into two categories: Saver Classic or Flex.
Only savers will receive free baggage.
The Classic Passenger is entitled to a free carry on baggage, a 15kg check baggage, and a standard seat.
Flex passengers receive a free carry on baggage, a 20kg check baggage, and a complimentary seat in all zones.

Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport
Green Africa Airways is located at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, which is in Ikeja (Nigeria State), Nigeria. It hosts approximately seven million passengers annually. Air Peace, Arik Air and Africa World Airlines fly to and from the airport. RwandAir and Royal Air Maroc are also available. Kenya Airways and Etihad Airways also offer flights.
Green Africa Airways offers only domestic flights to Nigerian destinations, including Abuja, Akure and Enugu.

Check In Online
Online check-in is not yet available. The airline is working on launching online check in soon.
Online check-in will soon be available so passengers can check in between 7 and 2 hours before their scheduled departure time.
Airport Check In
Check-in at airports opens two hours prior to scheduled departure time. The check-in deadline can be found on the booking confirmation.
Check-in must be done before the scheduled check-in time or the airline will cancel your booking. The flight time must be arrived at least 30 minutes prior to departure.

Baggage Policy And Fees
Carry-On Baggage
All fare-paying passengers have a 7kg carry-on allowance. Personal items such as a backpack or purse, and laptops are not allowed. The maximum dimensions of items onboard an aircraft are 55cm x 40cmx24cm
Passengers should ensure that carry-on luggage does not contain prohibited items, such as fluids exceeding 100ml. Any fluids must be stored in a bag for security checks.
Checked Baggage
The amount of checked baggage allowed depends on the type of ticket the passenger purchased. Checked baggage can be checked by gSaver customers for a small fee
Classic passengers have the right to 15kg of checked baggage
Checked baggage for Flex passengers is 20kg
For infants travelling with their parents, they must have a maximum of 5kg in checked baggage.
Baggage over 32kg cannot be carried as checked baggage. It would be considered cargo. Excess baggage cannot be added to a checked bag after June 2020.
Pet Policy
We do not allow animals to be carried in our Aircraft's cabins or hold.
Refund And Cancellation Policy
For gSaver or gClassic fare products, cancellations cannot be made.
You can cancel your gFlex products with a refund into your Green Africa wallet.
