About Fly Dhaka

Fly Dhaka, a proposed new airline in Bangladesh, is looking to launch its services early 2022. It is similar to Air Astra, another start-up airline from Bangladesh. The airline will fly to seven domestic destinations with a fleet ATR 72-600 aircraft.

Fly Dhaka will operate domestic flights in its first year of operation due to local regulatory restrictions. International services will therefore not be available until at most early 2023.

Fly Dhaka popular Destinations and Hubs

Fly Dhaka has not yet announced which destinations they will fly to. Due to restrictions by local authorities, however, it is highly probable that they will only fly domestic routes for the first year. The airline might consider operating international destinations in the second year of operation.

Online check-in is possible. You will save time and avoid queuing at the airport. After completing the online check in, you may be able receive your boarding pass.

Airport Check In

Alternative Airlines requires that you arrive at the check-in counters of the airline at least two hours prior to the scheduled departure time for domestic flights, and three hours for international flights.

When you arrive at the airport, make sure to have all your travel documents ready. If necessary, a visa for entry should also be available. You will find the designated check in area on the airport's departure information board.

Baggage policy and Fees

Carry-On Baggage

Information about carry-on baggage allowances will be made available closer to the airline's launch date.

To ensure safety, all carry-on items must be contained within the overhead lockers as well as under the seat. The airline will not accept any items that exceed these dimensions. These items will also be subject to security screening at the airport.

Security will confiscate any prohibited items, including fluids exceeding 100ml. For airport security checks, containers containing any fluid must be put in a plastic bag.

Checked Baggage

Details about the allowance for checked baggage will be available closer to launch.

As a rule, checked baggage should not exceed 32kg (70 lbs) or it will be considered cargo.

Pet policy

Pets can only enter Bangladesh as checked baggage, or air cargo. This type of transport requires an IATA-compliant pet carrier.

Pets could be subject to 21-day quarantine if they enter Bangladesh.

At the airport, all domestic cats and dogs must be clear of any evidence of communicable diseases to humans. A licensed veterinarian may need to examine your cat or dog if they are not in good health.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refund & Return Policy:
  1. Except as stated otherwise, all air tickets are non-refundable.
  2. Cancellation, date change, refunds, and other services are subject to airline policy, agent fees, and agent service fees. The agent is not responsible for any information other than the gross price of service at the time of booking. These prices are subject to change and depend on final execution time.
  3. If the price of the service is increased or becomes unbookable, client will be responsible for any difference. Client may cancel the purchase of the service at any time. A refund will be made less a minimum of 3000 BDT per individual or as stated at the time of refund, depending on the service.
  4. Agents may declare any air ticket non-refundable, regardless of carrier rules
  5. Refunds will be processed within 30 to 90 days depending on the service and related country's carrier/local establishment.
  6. All refunds will not be made if there is a payment gateway fee or service charge
  7. If the price of the service is increased or becomes unbookable, client will be responsible for any difference. Client may cancel the purchase of the service at any time. A refund will be made less a minimum of 3000 BDT per individual or as stated at the time of refund, depending on the service.
  8. Without advance payment, we will not be able to provide you with a second customized package quote. This is non-refundable in any situation.
  9. You are responsible for being at the pick-up / drop-off spot and locating your driver / guide. You will lose your tour or transfer without refund if you fail to do so.
  10. You must file a complaint with the local operator if they fail to provide the service. If the complaint is valid and local operators do not dispute it, we will investigate the matter and provide refunds. The refund and dispute processing time can take between 30 and 120 days
  11. Cancellation of booked package must be done at least 31 days before departure. If cancelled after that time, refunds will not be issued minus 10%. No refunds will be made if cancelled within 31 days of departure.
  12. All tours packages cannot be canceled or changed. You will be charged the difference in price if you need to change dates.
