1.The are institute of Chicago
An art museum every city would be proud to have. Although it is huge, it is not as overwhelming as the Met. It also has quite a large collection. We spent half an hour here and could easily spend more. It was well worth the trip! The Art Institute of Chicago
2.Museum of Science and Industry
It takes half a day, or even a whole day to see it all. There are so many hands-on activities for kids like making your own tornado. You can enjoy some of the area's solitude if you get there early enough. The coal mine tour was a highlight for us. It featured real equipment, and Austin, our tour guide, was extremely engaging. 360 Chicago Observation Deck
Naturally, you are coming here. It's definitely worth the trip. The park can get very crowded. It may take you a while to get the shot of your choice.
4.Lincoln Park Zoo
We didn't expect much, but were very pleased! The Zoo was well-maintained and clean. We were able to see many different animals and felt like we had learned so much. It was amazing to see the primate building. I could have stayed there all day, watching the chimps and gorillas. It's also free.
5. Buckingham Fountain
This extraordinary fountain was created in honor of the Art Deco movement and is located in Grant Park's centre. It's opened all day, but it turns on at night to let you see its magical effects with the lights. The fountain, which is 15,000 gallons in size, creates beautiful patterns and is a must-see for tourists visiting Chicago.
