Colorado Springs is a home-rule municipality in Colorado. It is the county seat in El Paso County. It is the capital city of Colorado Springs, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area, as well as the second-most visible city of Front Range Urban Corridor. It is located in east Colorado, on Fountain Creek. This is about 70 miles (113km), south of Denver.

The museum is located in a park that features beautiful gardens, trees, granite fountains, and outdoor sculptures.
