There are photographs and sculptures as well as paintings and drawings. Public tours are always free of charge and admission is free. A Family Center is available for families with young children.

4. The Guthrie Theater offers a variety of shows.

On May 7, 1963, the Guthrie Theater opened with a production Hamlet performed by Sir Tyrone Guthrie, who was also the theater's founder. It still shows Shakespeare's plays on three different stages and continues to present contemporary and classic productions.

It was constructed in 1972, which is more than 40 years ago. In 2006, a new building was constructed along the Mississippi River. The exterior features large photos of performances from the past. Guided backstage tours are available Friday and Saturday mornings. The building is well worth the visit.
