About Equair
Equair is a new domestic airline based at Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO) in Ecuador. They're looking to commence operations in December 2021 with a fleet of Boing 737 NG, serving domestic routes.
The airline is looking to launch their operations in December 2021. It's one of the first airlines, the other being Ecuatoriana Airlines, to launch after the collapse of TAME EP

Destinations: Equair will be serving the domestic Ecuador destinations. It's known that the airline will be operating between Quito (UIO) and Guayaquil (GYE). According to local media, they will also fly to Baltra (GPS) and San Cristobal (SCY).

At Alternative Airlines, we advise you to arrive at the airport 2 hours before for domestic flights and 3 hours before the scheduled departure time for international flights. This is to avoid any disruption causing any delays to your journey and missing the airport check-in deadline.

Carry-On Baggage
All carry-on items are subjected to airport security checks before boarding the aircraft. Prohibited items including any fluid exceeding 100ml will be confiscated by security.
Your carry-on items must fit within the overhead bins and over the seat. If it's over the size limit and/or over-weight, the item would have to be transported as checked baggage.
Checked Baggage
As a general rule, the airline won't accept any baggage exceeding 32kg (70lbs) due to international health and safety regulations. Any excess/oversized checked baggage would be charged by the airline too.
