Teesside International Airport (IATA code MME, ICAO code EGNV), formerly Durham Tees Valley Airport is an international airport that was previously known as Tees Valley Airport. It is located on the River Tees' northern side, between Stockton-on-Tees and Darlington, Northern England. It is located approximately 10 miles (16 km) south of Middlesbrough. It serves North Yorkshire, County Durham, and Teesside. The airport competes with the larger Newcastle International Airport, based in Woolsington Tyne and Wear.
There are connections to seven European and five domestic destinations from the airport. The airport holds a Civil Aviation Authority Public Use Aerodrome Licence number P518, which allows for passenger transport and flight instruction. Tees Valley Combined Authority controls three-quarters of this airport, while Teesside Airport Foundation controls the other quarter.
