Spirit Airlines Carry on Liquids

A quart-sized bag of liquids or aerosols, gels creams, pastes, and gels is allowed in your carry-on and at the checkpoint. You can only bring one item per travel-sized container that weighs less than 3.4 ounces (100ml). These items can be placed in a small bag and separated from your carry-on luggage to facilitate the screening process. Items that weigh more than 3.4 ounces should be packed in checked baggage.

Additional screening is required for any liquid, aerosol or gel, cream, paste, or paste those alarms during screening.

International Inbound Flights

If you have the following conditions:

• You are travelling to the United States on a connecting flight and these duty-free liquids were bought internationally.
• The liquids are packaged in transparent, secure, and tamper-evident bags by the retailer. They do not show any signs of tampering at screening by TSA.
• The original receipt is still available for liquids. The purchase was completed within 48 hours.

All items in the secure, tamper evident bags must be screened. You cannot carry any item that is not able to be screened or alarms you. You should pack all liquids, aerosols, and gels over 100ml or 3.4 oz in your checked baggage.
