Avianca Brasil S.A., also known as Oceanair Linhas Aereas S/A in Portuguese, was a Brazilian airline that was based at Congonhas Airport, Sao Paulo. The National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC) cancelled Avianca Brasil's operation before cessation of operations. Avianca Brasil held 13.4% of the domestic market share and 7.3% of international market share, respectively, from January through December 2018. This made it the fourth-largest Brazilian airline in both domestic and international traffic. Anac redistributed the company slots (landings, take-off permits and company slots) to other airlines. Anac raised R$555.3million through an auction on July 10, 2019. This was insufficient to pay Avianca's debt of R$2.7billion. However, Avianca's bankruptcy wasn’t officially declared.
