About Armenia Airways
Armenia Airways was established in 2013 as a start up airline.
Armenia, based in Yerevan was originally set to launch operations in 2018, but it delayed its launch until mid 2019. The airline launched its first flight in July 2019 and now offers a weekly service between two locations within Armenia.
It is expected that the airline will operate scheduled flights to long-haul and shorter-haul destinations.
Armenia Airways purchased aircraft previously owned by Tarom. Armenia Airways has its base at Yerevan Zvartnos International Airport.

The airline will offer a weekly round-trip service between Yerevan, Armenia and Tehran starting June 2019.
Flying will be on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. In the future, this route will be a daily one.

Online Check In
The airline does not offer online check-in.
Airport Check In
The airport check-in counters are open three hours prior to the flight departure time and close at 40 minutes. Passengers should arrive at the airport as soon as they can. The airport should be reached at least two hours prior to departure.
Passengers who fail to report on time to the check-in counters may be denied a flight.

Baggage Policy
Each passenger is allowed one piece of hand luggage up to 5 kg. It must be able to fit under the seat or in the overhead lockers. Any liquid over 100ml is not allowed onboard. Airport security will confiscate any prohibited items.
A fare-paying passenger has the right to one 20kg bag with a maximum dimension of 158cm. International safety and health regulations prohibit the airline from accepting any baggage that exceeds the limits.
