About Animawings
Animawings is a Romanian airline founded in 2019, serving many destinations in Europe and Africa with a fleet of Airbus 320-200 aircraft. The airline is based at Henri Coanda International Airport in Bucharest, Romania.
Not long after the launch of the airline, Aegean Airlines decided to acquire 25% stake in Animawings and the rest is owned by the Memento Group. It was in July 2020, when the airline obtained its Air Operating Certificate (AOC) and initiated its maiden flight. Since then, the airline has been selling both scheduled and charter flights to its destinations.
