Air Wisconsin is a regional airline that is based in the United States.The headquarters of the airline are located in Wisconsin, but Chicago O'Hare International Airport is its hub. They fly to more than 30 destinations across North America. Their primary focus is on domestic flights within the US . The airline is now exclusively operated as United Express. This is the regional branch for United Airlines.
In 1965, the airline was established as an independent commuter airline connecting Appleton (Wisconsin), with Chicago. It used its own brand and aircraft. The airline was one of United Express' first partners in the mid-1980s and began operating exclusively for United Express. Air Wisconsin ceased flying for United Express in the years that followed and began flying as US Airways Express for US Airways.
