Economy Class

Passengers have the option to enjoy inflight entertainment, including free wifi on certain aircraft. All Economy Class passengers will receive a meal or snack on every flight, depending on the route and duration of the flight, plus a complimentary bar service that offers soft drinks, juices, and wine.
Passengers flying to/from Australia or New Zealand in Business Class are treated to a 4 course gourmet meal and full bar service. Passengers travelling to Noumea or Nadi will receive a snack box, light dinner, and beverage service.
Special Meals
Special meals can be requested. Prior to booking, the airline will ask passengers to indicate their preferred meal preference. This can be done easily by booking through Alternative Airlines. You can choose from a variety of special meals depending on your route.

It closes one hour prior to that time.

Check-in at the International Airport of Air Vanuatu opens 2.5 hours prior to departure. This is 3 hours before departure for New Zealand flights. Check-in closes 60 minutes prior to departure.

All passengers are allowed to carry 7kg of baggage, even Economy Business. Only domestic flights and flights to Caledonia/Fiji are exempted from this limit. Economy passengers can carry a maximum of 5kg.
The route taken determines the allowance for checked baggage. These dimensions must be adhered to by all checked baggage: 48cm length, 23cm depth, 34cm height.
