About Air Madagascar
Air Madagascar is Madagascar's national flag carrier. It operates a large domestic network and scheduled international flights to 50 destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Indian Ocean islands. Paris, Marseilles, Bangkok, Guangzhou, and many other destinations are popular. Through codeshare flights with partner airlines, such as Air Austral and Air Seychelles and Air Mauritious, the airline offers a wider network.
Air Madagascar is the airline's operating title. Societe Nationale Malgache de Transports Aeriens is its full name. Air Madagascar is located in Antananarivo (the capital of Madagascar), at Ivato International Airport. Economy Class
Economy class, also known as "Ylang", consists of 224 seats on an Airbus A340300 and 156 on a Boeing 737-800.
The economy class provides passengers with a 10.44 inch individual screen at the back of their seats to keep them entertained while onboard the plane.
Long haul flights operate mainly at night. You can relax in your comfortable cushioned seats. Economy seats are 32 inches wide and 18 inches high.
Premium Economy Class
Vouchers who travel in the Premium Economics class are entitled to a check-in at a Business counter and priority baggage handling. You can charge your electronic devices from the premium cab's electrical outlets.
Premium economy offers passengers a 10.44 inch individual screen at the back of their seats to keep them entertained. Every seat has a noise-reducing audio headset to view the films. Each seat has an individual, adjustable reading lamp.
Vanilla class cabins are made up 21 seats that recline at 123 degrees and have a configuration of 2/3/2. The distance between seats is 98cm, compared to Economy Class's 81cm.
Business Class
The Business Class on A340-300 is called "Baobab" and it is one of the most popular business classes in the Indian Ocean.

You can enjoy a 16" x 15" personal screen. You can also view the films from each seat with an audio headset that reduces noise. Each seat has an individual, adjustable reading lamp.
There are 30 business seats available in the cabin, which can be configured in 2/2/2. The fully reclined seat can be adjusted to 180 degrees, allowing you to travel like you are in a bed. You will find optimal comfort with the 1.50 m spacing between the seats.

Baggage allowance is dependent on the type of cabin, the fare and the route. The airline generally allows between 5-12kg in Economy and 8-18kg in Premium Economy. Business Class is allowed to carry 10-8kg.

Economy class passengers on long-haul or regional flights have a weight limit of 23 kg and domestic flight passengers can carry 20 kg (except for tickets with promotional or discount prices - see below).
