Air China is the flag carrier of China. Its headquarters are in Beijing's Shunyi District. Beijing Capital International Airport is the primary hub airport for Chinese airlines. Each flight is restricted to one container that contains live animals.Containers containing live animals, which includes small animals or food, must not exceed 32kg. Live animal transportation is applicable to Air China-operated one-way direct flights, as well as domestic-to-domestic and domestic-to-international connecting flights through Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu with transit time of more than 2.5 hours. Transit times exceeding 4 hours must be reported at the transit airport. The live animals will then need to be taken under personal care before being checked in for further transport.
